Day 29, but who’s counting…..

I am pretty proud of what I was able to make in the middle of my depression “spell” hahaha! It was just one of those rough days, but in the end I worked my way out somehow. I did make this for the battalion wall for our company!! Its better then just slapping a picture up there, its just a little too good and part of me will be hard pressed to give it up.

Day 28

After my hectic days, and having to use weekends to clean the house and scrub mop the floors..forever while my body hurts from my last work out I got a nice gesture from my neighbor SPC Frances! He brought over a plate of food and piece of cake. Curie chicken with potatoes, rice, and peas. The cake was carrot with two cherries! Very nice of him!

 

Day 27

Started working out with a personal trainer today!! So now not only am I working out regularly I am working with a trainer to really get to the goal I want!! I will tell you that she kicked my ass!!! I finished the work out but pushed me to the max!

FYI~ Picture of the outside of the best gym on post! I cant take pictures inside without some kind of press pass thing so I snuck one of the outside! hahah

I hate this apple!! It will be the death of me!! You have to put it on her every day, if you forget you have to take or she will not ride the bus….we forgot today. ugh!!!

Day 24

Just a hard night without Gary, I miss him and felt like I have nothing to make me feel close to him at all. So I got out his bag from under the sink and the two things that smell just like him are in there, so I set it up for a picture because I really miss him right now.

Day 23

After Gavin’s rough day at school and I knew what homework he would have I decided to try something new and also added a little fun to it!!

Instead of writing his spelling words three times each on one sheet in those small and to short lines I made copies so he would have 3 of them. Told him to just write each word once on the first one and then after each sheet he did we threw angry birds!!! Then we would move on the the next sheet where he would write them again but just once, then threw angry birds till all the sheets were done! He loved it so much.

Day 22

So I wasn’t to sure what I wanted to post for today. I could have posted about missing my sis already and missing my husband who I haven’t talked to in 2 days, but that just makes me sad. However it does tell me its time to start these two amazing looking books Tati let me borrow to distract myself from the sad stuff. Can’t wait to get started….

Day 21…”the birthday party”

Today was Gavin’s Birthday party and my sister, niece, and nephew had come down Friday to stay the weekend with me for the party and visit!!! I as well as Gavin and Ally were just so excited, Court even helped me make Gavin a Halo cake out of a generic Kroger one, since no place does Halo cakes. The party was good, Gavin loved his gifts and cake. But it was also unforgettable and hectic. I mean we got through the party and Gavin was happy but some ppl will never grow up and learn, or be invited back. I want to end on the happier side of the party with a good picture of Gavin and his halo cake my sis made!!!

Day 20

Ok, I just wanted to print it out for my desk b/c I love this picture my mom took! Ended up spending maybe over an hour playing around with it in Photoshop and finally came up with this!!

Day 19..and counting

Going to start off by summing up my day. First off I wake up at 0600 to get kids up and ready for school. After they are gone around 0715 I started cleaning up the house some. Made my bed and other things like run my shark on the “not tile” flooring. Then I made Gavin’s board to help with some issues we have been having, and talked to the hubby while getting ready for the gym. Then 1000 went to the best gym ever on a part of post I didn't know existed. Then after that went to see Tati’s house and then the commy for few things I needed. Got home and Amanda and boys came over and so did next door friends. I love that they have friends even Ally now! I let them play playdoh and it was a mess like playdoh is but they had fun. But 1700 came and it all just went to chaos, I had to make dinner, clean playdoh, deal with childrens needs and wants. We did have a nice dinner I was proud I cooked for us and it was a good dinner even though i was exhausted. I even cleaned the kitchen and got them snacks, teeth brushed and in bed! So I was non stop and the only thing to cue a day like this is…………………………………………..

Day 18…….

I do not want to rehash the events of today in full on detail, just wont do me any good. Looking at it now I might have seen that I hadn’t had a super bad day in awhile so maybe this was just coming no matter what.

I do however want you to know that I was deeply hurt today. I was talked down too and things were said to me that I can’t just soon forget. That is why I am always thinking before saying because I don’t like regrets. I know I don’t deserve this!

Then on top of that part, Gavin had a meltdown which later came with total nastiness. He talked to me with total disrespect and attitude. Of course my emotions were already on high so it was hard. He says mean things to me like “he never wants to spend time with again.” and more.

So here is my picture I took to represent my day and feelings. Yes I added some Photoshop to it, which was fun and I think I did bad ass on..just saying!!

Day 17

 

Can you say…LAUNDRY? LOL That is what I have been doing and made it my goal to get it all done!!

Day 16

All I wanted to do this day was sleep and I think that is what I did for the most part!!!! Hate these colds!!!

Day 15

Well I may have had a busy day with the kids and Amanda that was totally fun, but I think I want to post something else!

I started to go through some of this deployment stuff I got at the deployment fair. Its things you can make, do, or write to send off to your soldier! Well when I went through them earlier before he left it all seemed rather cheesy. But after the fact of course….it seems like a cute and great idea! I am actually all excited about doing some of it and then sending it to Gary as well to do some for me! Funny how things like that make you realize our first thoughts aren’t always right, always good to go back through and look again!

Day 14

So I want to talk about a few things I did today, and post a picture or two of the events. Not really one picture to sum the day up this time!

The day started out great of course, Amanda and the boys had stayed the night it was a sleep over for the kids!! So I woke to having them here already!! The kids got to play together and we spent the morning talking away like always, funny we never run out of things to say. So they left and I spent most of my time cleaning. Well Larry, Gavin’s friend from next door came and asked if he and his cousin Cloe (little girl age 3) could come over and play! Last time this girl came over she was so shy she didn’t want to play at all and wanted to go home. Not this time, she and Ally went straight to Ally’s room where they played nicely with all her stuff forever.

Then Amanda came and got me so that we could try and take the husbands packages to be sent out, but that was a FAIL, they were closed, we will have to wait till Tuesday and send them out then.

After that fail we went and had lunch at subway. It was so nice to have lunch/ dinner together out and not at home. The kids were great and had a nice goofy time!!  

 

Then on the way back from that we went to the PX and I ran in and got my down comforter and blanket for super cheap and made my bed/ comfy spot way nice and super amazing!! I will post a picture of it but its not with the one other white blanket on top and made up the rest of the way but you get the point!!!

Day 13

Had a much busy day with my girlfriend Amanda, paying bills, shopping and crafts!!! I decided to post a picture of our care pkg box making and the stuff that’s going in it for out husbands!!! It was so much fun we are staying up late to make them too and going all out!!!

Day 10

I want to take a moment to brag a little! I feel that I have been doing amazing during this deployment so far. Granted I did take my cheer up trip right after b/c I was crying a lot, but I made that good call to go and get all cleared up so that when I got back I would be happier and able to start life again. That’s just what I did too!!! I am taking care of things like I should be, I am sticking to the rules of the house with the kids (no sleeping in my bed)! Also when the dryer died I didn’t panic just went to Aarons with my girl Amanda to see about a new one, which we will return on Friday to get it! Also super proud of Amanda she has been doing the same, neither of us post these horrible posts about how life is just so mean b/c our hubbies are deployed. So I now call us Super Mom Army Wives! and I want to get shirts for us too.  So that is the reason for my collage, they are all from today just about my day really!  

The 9th day.

If I have the space and no one is using it, why not rearrange it to make it more useful? So that is what I did!! Before this was two desks one for Gary and one for me, well Gary is in Afghanistan now for a year. So I was thinking that I could use his portion while he is gone for more working space since I have to do all that stuff to take care of the house and bills! I really love the end result I love this desk! Thanks honey!!! LOL 

The 8th day….

 After being gone for for 5 days pretty much, I was having some Crawford withdrawals!! So invited her and the boys over today for some much needed company! It really was nice to have her and the boys here, I love playing with them. I even fed Jenson his lunch and then after that I gave him a warm bath, where i washed his hair and pampered him then he got a bottle!!!  

  Amanda and I also walked to the house across the street to their yard sale were I found a shirt for Jenson that was a “most have”!! It was white and had a donkey, cow, and duck on it and says “hee how, moo moo, quack quack”. That was all that was good really and he freaking loved it!!  

Good old Gavin today being so sweet and listened to me so very well too!! Everything I asked of him he did, just told me ok! I was so proud of him.

Day 6

Had the best time bowling with Ronnie all the kids, Austin, Gavin, Hannah, and Ally!! Ronnie was so nice and paid for us all to go bowling! He of course told me on the phone that it would be just bowling and not the games. Well when we get there he had gotten the kids cups of coins to play the games too…should have known he couldn’t not let them play games too!! Bowling was fun too, I haven’t bowled in awhile, Ally beat everyone with a score of 100! Then we went to turn in the tickets the girls had one with the games they played, well the lady that took the tickets was so sweet she gave the girls each a gorilla and star wand which was way more then they amount they had…although they did have a total of 300ish!!

  

                

Day 5, A Shopping We Will Go!!

Today was a nice day out of the house. I met Paulette at her doctors appointment, so that after that we could go have lunch together. So after that we went to the pharmacy and looked around while she waited on her prescriptions. Then for lunch we had DQ with some blizzards..yumo. So then she took me to a consignment shop were they had the prettiest quilt for Ally’s bed with matching pillow shams and valance!!!! She also got Gavin a cool coat and pants, Ally some clothes, and Hannah a cute hand made “American Doll” dress!! She really loved it! I really liked getting out and doing some much needed mother daughter shopping with my other mother! Thanks Paulette for the nice day out! 

Pawn Stars in bed, day 4

 So for day 4, my sister and I laid up in bed for most of the day watching multiple episodes of “Pawn Stars”, we even ate breakfast in there, then lunch! What a way to spend the day! I am hoping for a repeat soon. 

My 28th Birthday on day 3

So my birthday didn’t really feel like my birthday but I did get to come up to my sisters, thanks to Ronnie!! I did really need to get away after see off my husband the day before. It helps a lot to be around family and friends! I am really enjoying my time here, even though I miss my husband its less painful so that I can get through the rough days. 

Deployment

Day 2. I can honestly say that this was one of the worst and hardest days I have had in a very long time! My husband left for his deployment to Afghanistan. That is all I really feel like saying at the moment about it. 

A new year and serious faces!!

 Nothing rings in the new year like making fun of your husbands!! My girlfriend and I laughed so hard at out husbands and their serious “game faces”, Gary was not happy I took a picture! LOL it was funny though!! So this would be day 1!!!
